Get to Know

I'm Samantha Mai Currier, also known as Sam Mai, I am truly an artist in every way. But if you want to get specific, I am a Multidisciplinary Graphic Designer & Illustrator.

During my time at Newhouse, I learned how to express my lifelong passion for art, design, & eccentricity through visual communications. I had the opportunity to study the media industry and gain hands-on experience designing for countless mediums, from print, to digital, to immersive technology such as augmented reality.

My work has always been inspired by the natural world around me, so I have enjoyed playing with the dichotomy of nature & artistic tradition with technology and practicality.

I am a firm believer that life is too short to be boring, in any capacity, and so we must find beauty everywhere we look- and that should extend to the design that both embellishes our world and helps it function. As a result, my work is bold, innovative, and adaptable.

I provide results that not only work, but also stand out and leave a lasting impression. It's time to shake things up.
